Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment and PET/CT scanners
Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitor for adverse reactions
Operate Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs with training provided
Ensure patient safety and adherence to radiation safety protocols
Maintain accurate patient records and images for physician interpretation
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care

Qualifications

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with current BLS certification required
PET experience required
DOT certification preferred at start, required within 90 days
Valid driver's license required for submittal and mileage verification
Willingness to comply with fingernail policy (artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in nuclear medicine technology and PET/CT imaging
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Ability to operate Siemens PET/CT and E.CAM equipment (training available)
Strong patient care and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
