Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (day shift), every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Take charge of nursing operations in a 26-bed long-term care facility, ensuring safe medication administration and comprehensive wound care for residents with conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists and social workers to provide holistic care.
Maintain accurate documentation using the Matrix EMR system.
Act as a charge nurse, overseeing daily unit activities and ensuring a positive environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification (AHA required)
Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and every other major holiday
Candidates must not be employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of EMR system (Matrix)
Strong clinical assessment skills for geriatric populations
Ability to work independently as charge nurse and lead a team
Understanding of common diagnoses: heart disease, diabetes, dementia
