Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry and medical-surgical nursing care to assigned patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and rapidly identify changes that require escalation
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following hospital protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans
• Perform comprehensive assessments, document findings clearly, and communicate changes
• Support patient and family education with compassion and clear explanations
• Participate in Trinity-specific competency testing and skills checklists to maintain excellence

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license (license/certificate verification required)
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• TNCC certification (listed)
• NIHSS certification (listed)
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Successful completion of required health screenings and immunizations (fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, physical/health statement)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Solid medical-surgical nursing background and clinical assessment abilities
• Proficient in accurate documentation and electronic medical record workflows
• Excellent prioritization, critical thinking, and situational awareness
• Team-oriented communication and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Comfort with unit-specific competency workflows and specialty testing
