Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols to produce accurate, timely results
- Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, and tissue specimens with care and precision
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure reliable testing
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and media required for laboratory assays
- Maintain precise records of test results and manage data in the laboratory information system (LIS)
- Adhere to SOPs, safety protocols, and quality control procedures to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with laboratory colleagues and clinical staff to support high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician or in a similar clinical laboratory role
- CLT or CLS certification preferred or equivalent clinical laboratory credential (or eligibility to obtain)
- Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
- Hands-on experience with blood sampling, sample processing, reagent preparation, and lab equipment operation
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and strong data management skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to quality control
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Phlebotomy experience and prior hospital setting experience are a plus
- Willingness to relocate to Culbertson, MT prior to starting (required)

- Coagulation testing, urinalysis, and blood banking procedures
- Laboratory information systems (LIS) for recording and managing results

- Reagent preparation and basic laboratory maintenance
- Data management and accurate recordkeeping
