Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols to produce accurate, timely results
• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, and tissue specimens with care and precision
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure reliable testing
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and media required for laboratory assays
• Maintain precise records of test results and manage data in the laboratory information system (LIS)
• Adhere to SOPs, safety protocols, and quality control procedures to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with laboratory colleagues and clinical staff to support high-quality patient care
• Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to a culture of continuous learning

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician or in a similar clinical laboratory role
• CLT or CLS certification preferred or equivalent clinical laboratory credential (or eligibility to obtain)
• Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
• Hands-on experience with blood sampling, sample processing, reagent preparation, and lab equipment operation
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and strong data management skills
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to quality control
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Phlebotomy experience and prior hospital setting experience are a plus
• Willingness to relocate to Culbertson, MT prior to starting (required)
