Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical treatment services to assigned clients using evidence-based approaches
- Deliver individual, group, and family psychotherapy tailored to client needs
- Respond to and manage emergency mental health situations and crisis interventions
- Offer information, referral, and consumer support services to connect clients with resources
- Develop and deliver community education and consultation to stakeholders and partner agencies
- Collaborate with the Director of Outreach Services and Clinical Manager to ensure high-quality care
- Document clinical encounters and treatment plans accurately and professionally
- Provide consultation and direct services for special populations as credentialed
Qualifications
- Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Washington State licensure: LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or MHP (required)
- At least 2 years of experience treating consumers in the assigned program area
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health therapeutic techniques and clinical treatment services
- Ability to use sound clinical judgment and work with minimal supervision
- Qualification per WAC 246-341-0515 for any additional specialties (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired, emergency services) if providing those services
Education
- Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or related field
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of mental health therapeutic techniques and evidence-based interventions
- Experience delivering individual, group, and family psychotherapy
- Crisis management and emergency services competency
- Familiarity with community resources, referrals, and systems of care
- Ability to engage with diverse populations including children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, and hearing impaired clients
- Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills
- Collaborative teamwork and ability to consult with staff and community partners
