Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform screening mammography exams with care and precision to support early detection
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring safe, high-quality imaging
- Follow ACR and MQSA standards to guarantee image quality and proper documentation
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication to put patients at ease
- Conduct mammography quality assurance tasks and maintain QA records
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinic staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control best practices at all times
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance imaging services
Qualifications
- ARRT certification with advanced mammography credentials (required)
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist license (required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
- Demonstrated experience with mammography equipment operation and quality assurance
- Knowledge of ACR and MQSA standards and the ability to apply them consistently
- Strong patient communication skills and a patient-centered approach
