Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality neurology nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop nursing plans accordingly
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support interventions when needed
• Collaborate closely with the full-time Hospitalist physician and interdisciplinary team
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Mentor and support colleagues while working independently with minimal supervision
• Safely float to other departments and provide competent care where qualified

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (per facility/state requirements)
• Minimum of 3+ years of nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications (required)
• Experience in neurology patient care, caring for both adult and pediatric populations
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and able to cover every other weekend
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and to collaborate as part of a team

• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and prioritization
• Clear documentation and effective communication with providers and families
