Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate GE HDXT MRI systems (16.0 and 23.0) to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with tech aides and fellow MRI technologists — you will never work solo
• Perform patient screening, education and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Follow established protocols and adapt imaging parameters for optimal results
• Maintain accurate patient and exam documentation in the electronic record
• Respond to on-call requests and provide reliable coverage after midnight when needed
• Support a busy schedule (approximately 9 patients per shift) while maintaining patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experience
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists — ARRT (MR) certification (required)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
• Hands-on GE equipment experience (HDXT 16.0 and 23.0) — required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and take call as needed
• Must have own vehicle and include permanent address in profile
• Facility will not consider travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of MRI physics, safety and contrast protocols
• Proficiency operating GE HDXT MRI consoles and troubleshooting basic issues
• Patient positioning and anatomy expertise across a range of exams
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse electronic health record workflows (preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage workload (about 9 patients/shift) while maintaining attention to detail
