Roles & Responsibilities

• Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal diagnostic views
• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, setting appropriate exposure factors
• Perform routine CT and diagnostic procedures across all age groups with accuracy and compassion
• Operate mobile radiography equipment in OR, ER, and at the bedside to support acute care needs
• Process imaging studies and maintain image quality using digital radiography workflows
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Prioritize and organize daily work flow to keep the modality running smoothly
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

• 2+ years current CT technologist experience in a hospital setting
• Active ARRT registration (required)
• Active American Heart Association BLS (required)
• New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License or ability to obtain NH MIRT (or equivalent state license) — traveler temp license easily obtained
• Proven proficiency in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm
• Experience imaging all age groups (pediatrics through geriatric)
• Previous travel experience preferred and traveler must have own vehicle
• Ability to provide permanent address and any requested time-off at profile upload

• Patient positioning and immobilization techniques
• CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment operation and control adjustments
• Mobile radiography and operating room imaging procedures
• Radiation safety and protection best practices
• Digital radiography image acquisition and basic image processing
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer literacy for imaging systems and electronic documentation
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple requests efficiently
