Shift Type: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, EOW (every other week) schedule; rotating weekday on-call after 4:30 PM; rotating weekend and holiday on-call coverage (day shift with rotating call and weekends)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine studies including cardiac imaging, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies and gastric emptying with accuracy and compassion
- Operate, troubleshoot and maintain GE nuclear medicine equipment to ensure consistent image quality
- Use Radnet, Merge Unity and Cerner for image acquisition, archiving and electronic charting
- Follow radiation safety and quality assurance protocols to protect patients and staff
- Provide clear patient education and thoughtful care before, during and after procedures
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, lead techs and the care team to support timely, high-quality results
- Float to Mercy Downtown as needed (approximately 6.5 miles) and adapt to department needs
- Participate in rotating call and weekend coverage to support continuous patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
- Comfortable working day shifts with rotating on-call and weekend responsibilities
- Ability to float to Mercy Downtown when requested
Education
- CNMT certification (NMTCB) required
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with SPECT and cardiac nuclear imaging protocols
- Familiarity with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS systems for image management
- Experience charting in Cerner or similar EMR systems
- Proficient with GE nuclear medicine equipment and routine QA
- Strong patient care, positioning and communication skills
- Solid understanding of radiation safety and imaging quality standards
