Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: High Point, NC
Shift Type: Days to be determined, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening/night shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assist with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing and toileting
- Take and record vital signs, report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe and dignified patient mobility, transfers and positioning
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and families
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention practices
- Participate in team huddles and contribute to a positive, resident-focused culture
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Valid CNA certification in North Carolina or eligible to obtain state certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills, reliability and a caring attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic nursing care and resident dignity
- Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
- Comfortable working in a team and following care plans
- Basic documentation skills; willingness to learn facility charting systems
