Shift Type: Evening (Shift 2), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with compassion and respect
- Support safe mobility and transfers to promote independence and prevent falls
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition, ensuring timely communication with nurses
- Provide friendly, individualized personal care while preserving dignity and privacy
- Document care accurately and promptly in the resident record
- Follow infection prevention protocols and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families through clear, empathetic communication
Qualifications
- Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) or equivalent — this is the heart of the role
- Previous experience in long-term care or working with older adults is a big plus
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Basic ability to assist with mobility and use safe transfer techniques
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable supporting activities of daily living and personal care
- Observation skills to notice changes in resident condition and report them promptly
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, safe transfers, and hygiene assistance
- Familiarity with infection control and resident safety practices
- Good documentation habits and ability to follow care plans
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to connect with older adults
