Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate vascular imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Review images for clarity and diagnostic usefulness, ensuring quality assurance standards are met
- Perform vein mapping and peripheral venous and arterial Doppler studies accurately
- Identify normal and abnormal vascular findings and document them clearly
- Communicate concise summaries of results to physicians and clinical teams
- Promptly escalate and alert physicians to urgent or critical findings
- Maintain thorough work history and compliance documentation prior to start
Qualifications
- ARDMS required — must hold RDCS and RVT credentials (ARDMS with RDCS and RVT)
- Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience (required)
- Proven ability to perform vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Doppler studies
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Willingness to complete and submit all compliance items one week prior to start
- Work history and permanent address required as part of profile submission
- Facility will review applicants who may not have active copies of certifications at time of submission
Knowledge & Skills
- Imaging equipment operation and image quality assurance
- Vascular image review and interpretation skills
- Strong communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Expertise in vein mapping and peripheral arterial/venous Doppler techniques
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology recognition, and urgent findings
- Attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and patient-focused care
