Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
- Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Support rehabilitation activities under direction of nursing or therapy staff
- Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights to ensure dignity and comfort
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or equivalent (required)
- CPR/BLS certification strongly preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfort working with older adults and those in rehabilitation settings
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility requirements
- Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
- Reliable, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited GNA or nursing assistant training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and promoting resident independence
- Knowledge of basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate approach to dementia-related behaviors and geriatric needs
- Time management and ability to prioritize resident care tasks
