Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts including weekends and holidays: Days 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Evenings 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Nights 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Varied schedule (shifts may fall any day of the week); OT rotation may be required; no guaranteed hours or shift preference.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer medications safely and accurately to residents according to facility policies
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
- Provide compassionate ADL assistance to support resident dignity and independence
- Deliver specialized care including wound VAC management and skin treatments
- Provide respiratory support such as CPAP care and nebulized treatments
- Manage gastrostomy tube care and enteral feeding procedures as required
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow individualized care plans
- Maintain infection control standards and participate in employee health requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii LPN license required — license must be active by the assignment start date
- Demonstrated experience in long term care and medication administration
- Hands-on experience with wound VAC care, CPAP care, nebulized treatments, and gastrostomy tube care
- Strong skills in patient assessments and providing ADL assistance
- Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and accurate documentation
- Wound care principles and wound VAC equipment management
- Respiratory support knowledge: CPAP setup/monitoring and nebulized therapies
- Enteral/gastrostomy tube care and troubleshooting
- Comprehensive patient assessment and recognizing changes in condition
- Skilled, compassionate ADL support and resident-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a long term care team and follow care plans
