Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams and fluoroscopy with accuracy and care
- Provide imaging support for Operating Room procedures, collaborating closely with surgical teams
- Position patients and operate imaging equipment following safety and radiation protection protocols
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and ensure images are properly archived in PACS
- Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff to deliver compassionate care
- Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as required to support continuous patient care
- Assist with equipment checks, quality control, and maintaining a tidy, safe imaging environment
Qualifications
- ARRT® certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of current experience performing radiographic procedures (required)
- Ability to perform fluoroscopy, OR procedure imaging, and standard x-ray exams
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
- Comfortable with rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities
- Must be able to provide skills verification (fluoro, OR, procedures, x-ray) and supporting documents
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and positioning
- Fluoroscopy operation and safety practices
- Experience with Operating Room imaging workflows
- Familiarity with imaging equipment, PACS, and quality control
- Patient care, infection control, and operating-room etiquette
- Good communication and teamwork skills
