Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients
• Prepare and assist with LHC/PCI and structural heart procedures (ASD/PFO) in the cath lab
• Monitor hemodynamics and patient status throughout procedures and during recovery
• Set up and manage cath lab equipment (IVUS, FFR, GE X-ray) and ensure sterile technique
• Document care and procedures clearly and promptly in Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, EP teams, techs and support staff to deliver safe care
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations and follow-up care
• Contribute to a flexible, team-oriented environment and support unit readiness

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) — current, active licensure (Colorado or compact license recommended)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (as listed in the job data)
• Demonstrated Cardiac Cath Lab experience with LHC-PCI and Structural Heart (ASD/PFO) — required
• Familiarity with procedures such as LHC/PCI, TAVR, EP study/ablation
• Experience using Meditech EMR and working with cath lab imaging (GE X-ray, IVUS, FFR)
• Strong clinical assessment skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Flexibility and a collaborative attitude; ideal fit is adaptable and team-focused

Education

• Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) — program completion required to hold RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and peri-procedural nursing care
• Proficiency with cath lab equipment and imaging modalities (IVUS, FFR, GE X-ray)
• Competence in hemodynamic monitoring and post-procedure recovery assessment
• Clear, timely documentation in Meditech EMR
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary procedural settings
• Ability to prioritize, anticipate needs during procedures, and maintain sterile technique
