Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately following established protocols
• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, and tissue specimens with care
• Operate and maintain lab instruments and equipment to ensure reliable results
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and media required for daily testing
• Maintain precise records and manage data using the laboratory information system (LIS)
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with laboratory colleagues and healthcare teams to support quality patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience as a Laboratory Technician or similar role in a clinical laboratory (explicit requirement)
• Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
• Experience using Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) for accurate data management
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to quality control
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; hospital setting or phlebotomy experience is a plus
• Willingness to relocate to Culbertson, MT prior to start (relocation required)
• Ability to work day shifts with periodic rotating nights, weekends, and on-call assignments

• Sample collection and phlebotomy techniques
• Sample processing and laboratory testing workflows
• Hands-on operation and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment
• Reagent preparation and inventory awareness
• Quality control, SOP compliance, and safety protocols
• Proficient use of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and data management
• Familiarity with hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
• Clear communication and effective teamwork in a clinical setting
