Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the interventional team during cardiac catheterization and other cath lab procedures with precision and calm under pressure
• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment (Philips & Siemens) and ensure all devices are ready for each case
• Monitor and support patients throughout procedures, maintaining safety and comfort
• Operate and document procedures in EMR systems (Meditech, MacLab) accurately and promptly
• Adhere to radiation safety practices, including use of the panning x-ray table as required
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to streamline workflow and deliver excellent patient care
• Help orient and educate less experienced staff—be a clinical mentor and team player
• Respond to on-call activations reliably and professionally

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• RCIS certification required (panning x-ray table experience required)
• BLS and ACLS current certifications
• Minimum 1 year of interventional/cardiac cath lab experience
• Comfortable with EP, PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI and IR case work
• Ability to work day shifts, occasional Saturdays, and fulfill on-call requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven interventional experience in cardiac catheterization and cath lab procedures
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Experience with Meditech and MacLab documentation
• Strong patient monitoring and peri-procedural care skills
• Good communication and teamwork—able to teach and mentor junior staff
• Understanding of radiation safety and panning x-ray table operation
