Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans using GE MRI systems, ensuring clear diagnostic images
• Administer MRI contrast and conduct non-contrast MRI studies safely and accurately
• Follow unit protocols and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
• Document exams clearly and timely in Cerner EMR and other imaging systems
• Position and prepare patients compassionately, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and unit staff to deliver excellent patient care
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence

Qualifications

• MRI registered (required)
• Current MRI certification
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Familiarity with GE MRI systems
• Experience using Cerner EMR preferred
• Breast MRI experience is a plus
• Ability to work rotating weekends and adapt to unit staffing needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in MRI contrast and non-contrast imaging procedures
• Strong patient positioning and safety practices
• Comfortable operating GE MRI equipment
• Working knowledge of Cerner EMR documentation
• Clear communication and compassionate patient care
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based radiology environment
