Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and establish individualized treatment plans based on physician orders
- Deliver therapeutic procedures and modalities to restore muscle strength and range of motion
- Implement coordination training and functional interventions to improve movement and independence
- Manage and control patient pain using evidence-based techniques
- Document patient progress clearly and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with referring physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and families on home programs and strategies to support recovery
Qualifications
- Current CA Physical Therapist License (required)
- Ability to evaluate and treat patients under physician order in accordance with the California State Practice Act
- Full-time day shift availability
- Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient evaluation and assessment
- Treatment planning and therapeutic modalities
- Pain management techniques
- Muscle strengthening and range of motion interventions
- Coordination training and functional rehabilitation
- Knowledge of the California State Practice Act and clinical documentation standards
