Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the Cost Accounting and Decision Support systems to deliver accurate service line profitability analysis
• Publish monthly service line and physician practice P&L statements and produce actionable scorecards
• Lead STRATA-based financial feasibility work, including ROI, NPV and IRR calculations to inform capital decisions
• Oversee productivity systems and validate cost structure updates to support performance improvement
• Prepare and provide reports for external rating agencies (S&P, Fitch, DAC, EMMA) and for audits/insurer renewals
• Train and mentor managers, the decision support supervisor, and analysts to strengthen analytical capabilities across the organization
• Support software implementations and upgrades (STRATA forecasting module, ERP components, leasing software) and ensure ongoing system maintenance
• Generate ad hoc and recurring reports for annual financial audit, cost reporting, GME reporting, and community benefit reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (required)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting and/or decision support (healthcare experience required)
• Hands-on experience with STRATA financial software or similar decision support/forecasting tools
• Proven experience producing P&Ls, financial feasibility analyses and reporting to external agencies
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience and a track record of mentoring staff
• Familiarity with hospital contracting, bundled payments and physician reimbursement (preferred)
• Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration and financial/healthcare certifications (preferred)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (required)
• Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Financial analysis, forecasting and feasibility study design
• Service line profitability and P&L reporting
• STRATA system configuration and forecasting module knowledge
• Productivity management and labor utilization analytics
• Familiarity with ERP and leasing software implementations
• Reporting and compliance for auditors and rating agencies (S&P, Fitch, DAC, EMMA)
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional leadership engagement
• Ability to translate financial metrics (ROI, NPV, IRR) into strategic recommendations
