Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology with precision and care.
• Serve as an operational leader in the lab by applying your Nevada State General Supervisor licensure to oversee processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain strict quality control procedures and document results accurately to support excellent patient care.
• Prioritize laboratory safety and follow established protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and testing issues, escalating and collaborating with teammates when necessary.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while keeping attention to detail and turnaround times.
• Communicate results and findings clearly to clinical teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current and active Nevada State General Supervisor license (required).
• Demonstrated experience performing testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced lab while maintaining quality control and safety standards.
• Experience with laboratory documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with clinical teams.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven knowledge of clinical laboratory disciplines: Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology.
• Familiarity with quality control principles and laboratory safety practices.
• Skill in multitasking, prioritizing workloads, and maintaining accurate records.
• Comfort with lab instrumentation, result validation, and troubleshooting common technical issues.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines consistently.
