Roles & Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate patient response to treatment and recommend adjustments to the care team
• Perform thorough physical assessments to identify neuromuscular, pulmonary and cardiovascular needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore and improve function
• Select and carry out therapeutic procedures to help patients regain mobility and independence
• Document patient progress clearly and collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and families on exercises, home programs and strategies for long-term recovery
• Participate in interdisciplinary care to ensure a holistic approach to patient wellness

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Physical Therapy license (required)
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification (required)
• Willingness to relocate to and work in a rural community
• Comfort working with neuromuscular, pulmonary and cardiovascular patient populations
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and the care team
