Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with and scrub during cardiac catheterization procedures, stent placements, angiograms and other interventional cardiology cases
• Operate and optimize imaging equipment such as GE Innova to support high-quality procedural imaging
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper instrumentation and supplies are ready for each case
• Document procedures accurately in Meditech and MacLab to support patient records and continuity of care
• Provide compassionate, 1:1 patient care during procedures and recovery, prioritizing safety and comfort
• Collaborate closely with RNs, physicians and the multidisciplinary team to streamline workflow and improve outcomes
• Respond to on-call activations promptly and adapt to the fast-paced needs of the unit
• Participate in unit-driven quality and safety initiatives to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ARRT certification required
• RCIS certification preferred (nice-to-have)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures environment
• Demonstrated competence with GE Innova imaging systems and scrubbing during interventional cases
• Experience with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems preferred
• Strong teamwork, critical thinking and patient-centered focus; flexible for on-call responsibilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with cardiac catheterization, stents, angiograms and balloon procedures
• Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating for interventional cardiology cases
• Familiarity with GE Innova imaging equipment
• Comfortable documenting in EMRs such as Meditech and procedural systems like MacLab
• Solid aseptic technique and sterile field maintenance
• Excellent communication, situational awareness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
