Shift Type: Evening/Night shift, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM (12-hour night shift; days of week vary)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, timely emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing clinical monitoring in a fast-paced ER
- Administer medications, start IVs, and coordinate urgent interventions safely
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to deliver patient-centered care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and accurately
- Educate patients and families about treatments, discharge plans, and follow-up care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (compact license accepted if applicable)
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-acuity patients and prioritize in emergent situations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong triage and rapid assessment skills in the emergency setting
- Proficiency with medication administration, IV therapy, and emergency procedures
- Comfortable with EKG interpretation, airway management basics, and acute care protocols
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clear clinical documentation
- Calm under pressure, strong critical thinking, and excellent time management
