Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services across Livingston and Washtenaw County sites
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of functional mobility, ADLs, cognition, and sensory processing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life
• Document treatments, progress, and discharge planning in EPIC accurately and timely
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, PT, SLP, and case management to coordinate care
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies
• Adhere to infection control protocols and complete required health screenings and fit testing
• Participate in Trinity competency testing and skills checklist to maintain high standards

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (must be verified)
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and Trinity skills checklist required
• Ability to pass Trinity 10-panel drug screen and respirator fit test
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Tdap, Influenza, PPD/IGRA, Varicella)
• Strong documentation, clinical reasoning, and patient education skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in EPIC documentation and electronic charting workflows
• Skilled in ADL/IADL assessment, mobility training, and cognitive/visual-perceptual evaluations
• Experience with splinting, adaptive equipment recommendations, and discharge planning
• Familiar with infection control practices and respirator/evaluation procedures
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Able to manage caseloads efficiently while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
