Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with compassion and clinical excellence
• Perform thorough patient evaluations to identify functional limitations and set meaningful goals
• Design and implement individualized, goal-directed treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on treatments and therapeutic exercises aimed at improving mobility and function
• Document patient progress and maintain clear, timely clinical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and strategies for long-term improvement
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinic policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license for the state of Montana (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Degree in Physical Therapy (see Education section) and relevant clinical training
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Comfortable delivering outpatient rehabilitation focusing on mobility improvement and functional recovery
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with patients and teammates
• Ability to perform hands-on interventions, therapeutic exercise prescription, and patient education

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or Master’s/Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy as required for state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and direct patient care
• Experience with rehabilitation techniques and mobility improvement strategies
• Proficiency in developing individualized, goal-directed treatment plans
• Good documentation practices and basic EMR familiarity
• Strong clinical reasoning, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient-centered communication
