Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform rapid assessment and triage for incoming emergency cases
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Float to ICU or Long Term Care units as needed to support staffing and patient needs
• Document patient care accurately and hand off information clearly during shift changes
• Maintain a calm, efficient presence during high-acuity and trauma situations

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with demonstrated Emergency Department experience
• Minimum two (2) years of experience working in an Emergency Department
• Must be available for variable shifts, including day, evening, and night rotations
• Comfortable floating to ICU and Long Term Care when needed
• Able to meet the program start date and committed to the assignment duration

Education

• Nursing degree (ADN or BSN preferred) leading to RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency assessment and triage skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and prioritization
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability to changing schedules and clinical environments
