Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms to identify urgent changes and help prioritize patient care
• Monitor a high volume of telemetry patients reliably and maintain vigilance across multiple monitoring streams
• Build accurate end-of-shift reports and manage patient adds/discharges in the GE Carescape system
• Communicate clearly and promptly with floor staff using desktop phone systems and iPhone clinical apps
• Maintain detailed call logs and documentation to support continuity of care
• Multi-task across monitoring, documentation, and staff communication while staying calm under pressure
• Lead organized shift handoffs and contribute to a positive, team-focused atmosphere

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in telemetry or remote monitoring
• Telemetry competency with the ability to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
• Comfortable with basic computer skills, proficient typing, and use of iPhone clinical applications
• Reliable attendance and the ability to thrive in a high-volume monitoring environment
• Ability to read and write English clearly
• Preferred: CNA or cardiac nursing background
• Preferred: ECG Board Certification and prior GE monitoring experience

• CNA or cardiac nursing background preferred
