Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across acuity levels, delivering treatments with skill and compassion
- Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment safely and according to protocol
- Perform respiratory assessments and document patient responses to therapy clearly and accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
- Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and maintain skills via the Trinity Skills Checklist
- Ensure compliance with infection control, fit testing, and facility safety requirements
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- PALS and NRP certifications required
- License/Certificate Verification required (active Respiratory Therapist license as applicable)
- Completion of Trinity-specific competency and skills verification
- Up-to-date immunizations and health requirements as listed: Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, fit test, and Trinity 10 panel drug screen
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and the Trinity Skills Checklist
- Strong respiratory assessment and airway management skills
- Proficiency with respiratory equipment and ventilator management
- Ability to document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Commitment to infection control practices including fit testing and respirator evaluation
