Shift Type: Per diem (days vary based on facility needs), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day)

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
- Support safe mobility and fall-prevention measures for each resident
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other departments to deliver coordinated care
- Follow infection control and facility safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (required)
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred but not required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
- Passion for working with older adults and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and resident-centered practices
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Reliable time management and the ability to follow care plans
- Awareness of infection control and safety procedures
