Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical treatment services including individual, group, and family psychotherapy
- Deliver emergency services and crisis intervention when clients need immediate support
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Offer information, referral, and consumer support services to connect clients with resources
- Facilitate community education and consultation to improve local mental health outcomes
- Consult with staff and provide expertise for clients in specialty populations (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired)
- Document clinical activity clearly and collaborate with the Director of Outreach Services and Clinical Manager
Qualifications
- Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or a related field
- Washington State licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or MHP
- At least 2 years' experience treating consumers in the assigned program area
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health therapeutic techniques and emergency services
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise good clinical judgment
- Qualification per WAC 246-341-0515 for any additional specialty areas (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired, emergency services)
Education
- Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or related field from an accredited college or university
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical treatment services and direct client services
- Mental health assessment and diagnostic skills
- Individual, group, and family psychotherapy techniques
- Crisis intervention and emergency service delivery
- Community consultation, education, and information/referral processes
- Experience working with special populations and culturally sensitive care
