Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using thorough patient assessment to identify functional needs and goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence
• Perform functional ability assessments and document progress in the EMR
• Manage a diverse caseload independently while prioritizing patient safety
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Use professional judgement and clinical expertise to adjust interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families to support ongoing recovery and home safety
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and professional learning initiatives

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• 2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings (explicit requirement)
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and general computer systems
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
