Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients using thorough patient assessment to identify functional needs and goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence
- Perform functional ability assessments and document progress in the EMR
- Manage a diverse caseload independently while prioritizing patient safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
- Use professional judgement and clinical expertise to adjust interventions as needed
- Educate patients and families to support ongoing recovery and home safety
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and professional learning initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
- 2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings (explicit requirement)
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and general computer systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy

- Clinical documentation and EMR proficiency
- Caseload management and prioritization
- Clinical expertise and professional judgement
