Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with expertise and precision
• Support electrophysiology cases and device implants, ensuring sterile technique and efficient workflow
• Collaborate with the EP team to prepare equipment, map systems, and verify device functionality during implants
• Provide vigilant patient monitoring and documentation before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab imaging and EP equipment to minimize downtime
• Participate in night and weekend on-call rotation, responding promptly and professionally when needed
• Adhere to AHA BLS/ACLS protocols and maintain a culture of patient safety and quality

Qualifications

• RCES, RCIS or ARRT (RT) required — VI or CI certification also required (per posting)
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience and structural heart procedure experience required — must have both Cath and EP experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Cath Lab / EP experience — no exceptions
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (copies required with submission)
• Strong sterile/scrub technique and ability to work in diagnostic, interventional, EP and device implant settings
• Available for night and weekend on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac Catheterization and interventional procedures
• Electrophysiology procedures and EP device implants
• Structural heart procedure familiarity
• Scrub/sterile technique and procedural asepsis
• RCES/RCIS/ARRT credential knowledge and device certification (VI/CI)
• Patient monitoring, EKG interpretation basics, and intra-procedural documentation
• Team communication, rapid problem solving, and equipment troubleshooting
