Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts; specific days vary—must be willing to float to units where experienced)

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Observe residents continuously and report changes in mental or physical well-being to leadership
- Accurately receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders using electronic MAR/TAR systems
- Administer medications, oxygen, gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Perform wound care (including wound vac knowledge) and manage infection control practices on the unit
- Supervise, assign, and support LNAs, including monitoring documentation and mentoring direct-care staff
- Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers with timely documentation and family communication
- Complete unit reports, review new orders, and maintain lists for antibiotics and precautions
- Act as charge nurse for assigned unit(s) during your shift and communicate resident concerns to Nurse Manager/DON
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse license (must be active and in-hand at time of submission; compact allowed)
- 3+ years of recent nursing experience (must include work within the last 6 months)
- BLS (AHA) certification active at time of submission
- IV certification required (willingness to obtain during onboarding accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (no declinations/exemptions accepted) and proof required
- Willingness to float to units where experienced and supervise LNAs
- Own reliable transportation required due to rural location and limited local housing/public transit
- Two supervisory references from the last 2 years and current skills checklist/resume
Education
- Education consistent with RN licensure (diploma/ADN/BSN as required to hold RN license in New Hampshire)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and computerized MAR/TAR documentation
- Patient assessment and clinical decision-making in long-term care
- Wound care, including familiarity with wound vacs
- IV therapy, gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings, and oxygen administration
- Infection control practices and regulatory compliance (state and federal)
- Staff supervision, charge nurse duties, and team communication
- Familiarity with admitting/discharging/transferring residents and completing required reports
- Comfort working in rural/small-facility settings and prior travel experience is a plus
