Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect
- Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Provide compassionate companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities
- Document care provided and observations accurately and timely in the resident chart
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect residents and staff
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure individualized, person-centered care plans are followed
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required)
- Experience or demonstrated interest in geriatric care or long-term care settings preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings/immunizations
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work evening per diem shifts
- Strong communication skills and a kind, patient bedside manner
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant / GNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic nursing assistant duties and resident rights
- Skill in safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Familiarity with infection control practices and standard precautions
- Good documentation and observation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with elderly residents and families
- Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes accurately
