Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help with mobility and safe transfers to promote resident independence
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly
- Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents’ comfort and dignity
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Contribute to a warm, respectful environment that honors each resident
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required) or equivalent state-approved credential
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Demonstrated experience working with older adults or in long-term care settings is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility-specific screening requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to handle physical aspects of the role
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of a GNA training program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and safe patient handling
- Skill in providing ADL support with empathy and respect
- Familiarity with basic charting/documentation practices
- Ability to observe and report clinical and behavioral changes
- Comfort working in a fast-paced residential care setting
