Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Support safe mealtime assistance and monitor nutritional intake
- Observe, document, and report changes in residents' condition clearly and promptly
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required) — you’ve completed the training and you’re ready to help
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfort working with geriatric populations and assisting with ADLs
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to follow care plans and documentation standards
- Prior long-term care or assisted living experience a plus, but enthusiasm and a caring attitude matter most
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified GNA/GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and dignity-centered support
- Basic patient care skills: transfers, positioning, ADLs, and safe mobility
- Clear verbal and written communication for handoffs and documentation
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Awareness of infection control and safety procedures
