Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and thoroughly to maintain clear resident records
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care that preserves dignity and independence
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification or equivalent (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required immunizations/tuberculosis screening
- Comfort working with older adults and strong commitment to compassionate care
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow facility policies and documentation standards
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) care and personal hygiene assistance
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Strong verbal communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with infection control and resident safety practices
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility support
- Empathy, patience, and respect for resident dignity
