Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care following care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per policy
- Observe and document resident condition, communicating changes to the care team
- Support daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to optimize outcomes
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe transfers as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely charting in the facility’s documentation system
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN license (New Mexico) required
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- BLS/CPR certification required; additional certifications a plus
- Previous LPN experience in long-term care or rehab preferred
- Current immunizations and TB test per facility policy
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Comfortable with wound care, bathing, transfers, and ADL support
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
- Familiarity with electronic charting and documentation best practices
- Good time management, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to follow care plans and facility policies consistently
