Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plan goals that drive measurable student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into the classroom
- Document student progress, prepare reports, and maintain timely, compliant records
- Advocate for students' communication needs and provide guidance on classroom strategies
- Provide consultative support to classroom teams to promote inclusion and accessibility
Qualifications
- Licensed SLP with an active Oregon (OR) license required
- Experience or comfort working in K-12 school settings (school-based therapy experience preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and administrators
- Ability to follow district schedules, policies, and documentation requirements
- Willingness to start for the 2026-2027 school year (start date listed as August 24, 2026)
