Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and ambulation to promote independence
- Document resident observations and care provided in a timely, clear manner
- Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Current state-required regulatory credentials for CNAs
- Comfort with resident lifting/transfers and basic patient care tasks
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Prior CNA experience preferred but not strictly required
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing care and safety procedures
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control and patient hygiene practices
- Good documentation skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
