Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct age-appropriate speech and language assessments and baseline evaluations
• Develop individualized intervention plans that drive progress and meet educational goals
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to students across a range of speech and language needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and contribute to IEP development and reviews
• Track student progress with data-driven methods and adjust therapy accordingly
• Engage in a supportive CF experience, receiving mentorship and feedback to build clinical confidence

Qualifications

• Clinical Fellowship (CF) required (CF candidate placement)
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Comfort working in a school setting and partnering with educators and families
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• State license or eligibility to obtain licensure (candidates should be prepared to discuss license status)

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of school-based SLP practices and special education processes
• Skilled in assessment, goal writing, and individualized therapy planning
• Familiarity with classroom collaboration and consultative service delivery
• Ability to document progress clearly and prepare reports for IEP meetings
• Comfort with a variety of communication disorders and intervention approaches
