Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct age-appropriate speech and language assessments and baseline evaluations
- Develop individualized intervention plans that drive progress and meet educational goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to students across a range of speech and language needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and contribute to IEP development and reviews
- Track student progress with data-driven methods and adjust therapy accordingly
- Engage in a supportive CF experience, receiving mentorship and feedback to build clinical confidence
Qualifications
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) required (CF candidate placement)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Comfort working in a school setting and partnering with educators and families
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- State license or eligibility to obtain licensure (candidates should be prepared to discuss license status)
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of school-based SLP practices and special education processes
- Skilled in assessment, goal writing, and individualized therapy planning
- Familiarity with classroom collaboration and consultative service delivery
- Ability to document progress clearly and prepare reports for IEP meetings
- Comfort with a variety of communication disorders and intervention approaches
