Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine care for high-risk pregnancies across hospital and outreach settings
- Manage and coordinate maternal transport cases, including collaboration with air and ground teams
- Collaborate closely with OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and pediatric subspecialists to deliver seamless perinatal care
- Lead and contribute to clinical research and educational initiatives to advance MFM practice
- Serve as a clinical leader in the MFM service, helping keep the program current with cutting-edge technology
- Mentor and educate colleagues, trainees, and allied health staff to strengthen clinical expertise across the team
- Participate in quality improvement, service development, and community outreach efforts
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Fellowship-trained in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM); board certified or board-eligible in MFM
- Valid medical license in Colorado or eligibility to obtain one promptly
- Clinical experience in high-risk obstetrics, maternal transport, and maternal-fetal clinical care
- Demonstrated interest or experience in clinical research and medical education/mentorship
- Must reside within the immediate local area (relocation may be required); permanently based candidates preferred
- U.S. work authorization required — this opportunity is not accepting visa-sponsored candidates
- This is a permanent (not locums) full-time position
Education
- MD or DO degree plus Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship (board certified/board eligible)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in maternal-fetal clinical care and high-risk pregnancy management
- Comfort coordinating with neonatology, OB hospitalists, and transport teams
- Skill in clinical research methods and medical education/mentorship
- Leadership abilities to support and advance MFM services and program development
- Familiarity with current, cutting-edge MFM technology and best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary care and outreach clinics
