Shift Type: Full-time, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (PM/evening shift, day shift category), includes every other weekend

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Answer call lights promptly and respond with compassion
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (toileting, transfers, bathing, grooming) to keep them comfortable and dignified
- Obtain vital signs, weights, and other resident data accurately and reliably
- Report any changes in resident condition to the nurse in a timely manner
- Document and report allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the charge nurse
- Meet resident needs efficiently while maintaining safety and comfort
- Perform other resident-focused duties as requested to support high-quality care
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required and must be maintained
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- 1+ years of related CNA or long-term care experience preferred
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong accuracy in clinical tasks and documentation
- Ability to follow facility policies, procedures, and care plans
Education
- CNA certification required; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with ADLs (toileting, bathing, grooming, transfers)
- Comfortable obtaining and recording vital signs and weights
- Resident safety awareness and long-term care best practices
- Clear communication and reporting of resident condition to nursing staff
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
