Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including SPECT and PET with accuracy and compassion.
- Administer pharmacological stress testing (e.g., Lexiscan) and support myocardial imaging studies.
- Conduct parathyroid sestamibi scans and other targeted nuclear medicine studies for outpatient care.
- Draw venous blood samples safely and efficiently as part of diagnostic workflows.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment (GE, Philips, Siemens) according to protocols.
- Chart imaging findings and patient interactions clearly in EPIC to ensure smooth interdisciplinary care.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control standards to protect patients and staff.
- Participate in orientation and collaborate with the team to continuously improve patient experience.
Qualifications
- CNMT, NMTCB, or ARRT certification required (ARRT advanced cert preferred).
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Pending state license accepted initially, but license must be in hand within 4 weeks of submission.
- New graduates welcome — 1 year of experience noted but enthusiasm and solid training are valued.
- Comfortable performing venous blood draws and supporting cardiac/pharmacologic stress imaging.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred.
- Experience with GE, Philips, or Siemens imaging systems is a plus.
Knowledge & Skills
- SPECT and PET imaging techniques and protocols
