Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate, direct patient care with compassion and clinical excellence
• Provide nursing care using the Nursing Process and adhere to department and specialty standards
• Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to cardiac and patient safety changes
• Assume leadership responsibilities on your shift, including delegation and coordination of care
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies
• Maintain required certifications and actively participate in clinical orientation and competency checks
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications prior to contract start
• PALS or ENPC required to be active prior to contract start
• De-escalation training required and must be active prior to contract start
• Experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patient care (ability to manage cardiac monitoring and med-surg patient needs)
• Comfort working night shifts and adapting to a varied schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and clinical assessment skills
• Solid command of the nursing process and documentation standards
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation for inpatient populations
• Proficiency in med-surg nursing practices and acute care interventions
• Leadership, delegation, and teamwork to coordinate safe, efficient care
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards
