Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist and supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure residents receive excellent care
- Deliver rehabilitative and restorative nursing interventions that promote resident independence
- Follow federal, state and local regulations to maintain a safe, compliant facility
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to maintain high-quality care
- Monitor resident conditions, document assessments accurately, and communicate changes promptly
- Administer treatments and medications within LPN scope and facility protocols
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing aides and support staff during your shift
- Participate in care planning and support family communication with compassion and clarity
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of Colorado (required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable setting
- Current BLS certification (required)
- IV certification preferred for LPN candidates
- Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Comfort working 12-hour day shifts and supporting a team-focused care environment
