Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU patients on night shifts
• Monitor and interpret patient status, vital signs, and telemetry to anticipate changes
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies and code situations during night hours
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Float to Med-Surg units as needed to support patient flow and unit needs
• Accept and cover scheduled 24-hour on-call shifts as required by the contract
• Document patient care clearly and accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech 6.0 preferred)

Qualifications

• Current ICU RN — must be a practicing ICU nurse
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required
• Willingness to float to Med-Surg when needed
• Comfort with night shifts and periodic 24-hour call responsibilities
• Experience with Meditech 6.0 is preferred

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical-care nursing skills and clinical assessment
• Proficiency in ACLS/BLS protocols and emergency response
• Experience using Meditech 6.0 or similar EMR systems (preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage complex patient needs during night hours and on-call shifts
